Being in the business for so long and usually knowing what to expect, this cruise will definitely be a first. I truly have no idea what I will think of this supposedly gorgeous ship. Over the years, please either love cruising on Costa or they absolutely hate it. There is no in-between. I am trying to go with absolutely no expectations. I have a lot of people waiting eagerly to hear what I have to say when I return. Join them. I'll be back on November 28th. At the very last minute, I got the opportunity to join Penny and escort our company's annual group of 80 passengers on the MARINER'S October 22nd Western Caribbean Cruise! The ship just about lived up to every expectation I had. The Ice Skating Show was by far the best show I've seen afloat and would truly deserve a premium over the standard cruise line entertainment. Never once did I feel there were 3500 people aboard that ship! Royal Caribbean truly has a way of making sure you do not feel claustrophobic when onboard any of their ships. So many nooks and crannies, and places to hide. On a scale of 1 to 10, overall I feel it deserved a 9 which is excellent because I consider myself quite picky. Would I go on another 3500+ Royal Caribbean ship?
